These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the coaching services provided by Katrin Kusek, Ed.D., M.Ed., PMP, through Coaching on Demand, a business based in California, USA. By booking or participating in any coaching sessions, you agree to these Terms.

1. Coaching Services

Coaching on Demand provides personal, executive, life, transition, and parent/child coaching services. Coaching is a collaborative, client-driven process designed to support your personal growth, self-awareness, and goal achievement. Coaching is not therapy, mental health counseling, or a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to take full responsibility for your decisions, actions, and outcomes throughout the coaching process. Coaching requires active participation, honesty, and self-reflection. You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time and prepared.

If you are booking coaching for your child, you agree to be involved and provide appropriate consent for services.

3. Results Disclaimer

While coaching can be highly effective, results vary by individual. Coaching on Demand makes no guarantees about specific outcomes or results. The client is fully responsible for applying insights and strategies gained through the coaching process.

4. Booking and Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Accepted forms of payment include major credit cards and other methods listed on the Coaching on Demand website or invoicing platform.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged for the session.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.

  • Missed sessions without notice will be considered a no-show and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

  • A one-time exception for emergencies may be made at the sole discretion of the coach.

6. Termination of Services

Either party may choose to end the coaching relationship at any time. If the coach determines that services are no longer appropriate or aligned, she may refer you to other resources or providers.

7. Confidentiality

All information shared during coaching sessions is treated with respect and confidentiality. Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law or if there is risk of harm to yourself or others.

8. ICF Standards, Ethics, and Credentialing

Katrin Kusek, Ed.D., M.Ed., PMP, operates in accordance with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) professional standards and ethical guidelines. This includes strict adherence to the ICF Code of Ethics, maintenance of appropriate professional boundaries, and a consistent commitment to integrity, respect, and client-centered practice.

To meet ICF credentialing requirements, Coaching on Demand maintains a confidential log of coaching hours for verification purposes. This log may include client names and contact information, as described in the Privacy Policy. Clients who prefer not to be included in this log may opt out by following the opt-out process outlined in the Privacy Policy.

9. HIPAA Disclaimer

Please note that not all aspects of Coaching on Demand are HIPAA-compliant. While every effort is made to protect your privacy and confidentiality, coaching services are not classified as medical or mental health services and may not meet the full standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

If you require HIPAA-compliant services for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care, you are encouraged to consult with a licensed healthcare provider.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, handouts, and materials provided by Coaching on Demand remain the intellectual property of Katrin Kusek, Ed.D., M.Ed., PMP. They may not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

11. Testimonial Policy

By providing a testimonial, you agree that Coaching on Demand may use your words, first name, and general location (e.g., “Sarah, California”) for marketing and promotional purposes, including on the website, social media, or printed materials. Testimonials may be lightly edited for clarity, grammar, or length but will not be misrepresented. You may request to have your testimonial removed at any time by contacting info@coaching-ondemand.com.

12. Communication Policy

All communication between clients and Coaching on Demand is treated with care and discretion. While every effort is made to maintain client confidentiality, please note that general email and messaging systems are not HIPAA-compliant.

Response times to emails or messages are typically within 48 business hours. Boundaries around communication will be discussed during onboarding, and clients are asked to respect mutually agreed-upon contact times and methods to maintain the integrity of the coaching relationship.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within California.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coaching on Demand, Katrin Kusek, and any affiliates, partners, or contractors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from the use of coaching services, the website, or participation in free discovery calls. Coaching services are not a substitute for therapy, medical treatment, or legal advice. You agree to use all services at your own discretion and risk.

15. Severability

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be deemed severable from the rest of the Terms and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of Coaching on Demand’s services, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal discussion and good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached informally, the dispute will be submitted to mediation before pursuing other legal remedies. This agreement to mediate does not waive any rights or remedies under applicable law.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, along with any additional written agreements you may enter into with Coaching on Demand, constitute the entire agreement between you and Katrin Kusek regarding the services provided. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether oral or written.

18. Modification of Terms

Coaching on Demand reserves the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through the website. Continued use of services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Electronic Signature and Acceptance

By scheduling a session, submitting a payment, or using the Coaching on Demand website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. This electronic agreement is legally binding and has the same validity as a signed written contract.

At Coaching on Demand, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, protect, and share personal information when you use my coaching services, visit my website, or communicate with me.

  • Schedule appointments and communicate effectively

  • Process payments and manage client accounts

  • Offer personalized support and resources

  • Comply with legal requirements and protect client confidentiality

4. How I Protect Your Information

I take appropriate steps to safeguard your personal information. This includes using secure platforms, limiting access to authorized personnel, and following confidentiality best practices. While I do my best to protect your data, no online platform is completely secure.

5. Sharing Your Information

I will never sell or rent your personal data. Information may only be shared in these situations:

  • With your explicit consent

  • With third-party service providers (such as scheduling or payment platforms) who assist in delivering services

  • With the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for official credential verification purposes (see Section 6)

  • When legally required, such as to comply with a subpoena or applicable law

All third-party providers are expected to meet high privacy and security standards.

6. ICF Credentialing Data Collection

To meet the International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentialing requirements, Coaching on Demand keeps a confidential log of coaching hours, which may include client names and contact information. This log exists solely to verify that coaching services — including complimentary discovery calls — have been provided.

The log is stored securely and will only be disclosed to the ICF upon official request for credential verification.

Opt-Out Option
Clients who do not wish to have their information included in the credentialing log may opt out by:

  • Sending written notice via email before their discovery call

  • Stating their preference at the beginning of the discovery call

  • Notifying Coaching on Demand within 24 hours following the session

Opting out will not impact access to or the quality of coaching services.

7. Your Rights

If you are a resident of California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

  • The right to know what personal information I collect

  • The right to request deletion of your personal data

  • The right to opt out of any data sharing

8. Cookies & Analytics
