Welcome — pull up a chair.
Let me guess how this week went. Somewhere in there, there was a thing that didn’t get turned in. A “five more minutes” that quietly turned into an hour. Maybe a door that got slammed over something that, to you, looked very small. And underneath all of it, running on a loop in the back of your mind, one quiet little question: what am I doing wrong here?
So before anything else, let me say the thing I most want you to hear on day one: you’re not doing it wrong, and your teen isn’t lazy. What you’re actually up against is a set of brain skills — we call them executive function — that simply haven’t finished building yet. They’re not personality. They’re not attitude. They’re skills. And here’s the good news that makes everything else possible: skills can be built.
Here’s how we’ll work together. One skill a month. That’s it. I’ll give you the why in plain language (with a story or two, because that’s how this stuff actually sticks), the exact words to say, and one tool you can put to use that same week. Once a month we’ll get on a live call so you can bring your kid, your kitchen-table standoff, and we’ll figure it out together. And you’ve got a whole room of parents here who get it — nobody’s judging the backpack.
This month, we’re not fixing anything. I mean it. We’re just getting the lay of the land — understanding how your teen’s brain actually works, and figuring out where to aim first. Start with the four short videos, take the self-assessment, and bring what you find to our call.
Take a breath. You don’t have to carry this one alone anymore.
