Before I was a coach, I was a parent sitting exactly where you may be right now.
I've spent nearly 18 years in education, with a master's and a doctorate in the field and even so, when my own family hit a transition I hadn't planned for, I found myself wondering whether I was doing enough. That taught me something I now see constantly: the hardest part of any big transition isn't the milestone. It's what comes after, when the structure that held a young person together disappears and they're suddenly on their own.
That's why nearly 1 in 4 first-year students don't return for a second year, most often not because they couldn't handle the academics, but because no one prepared them for doing it all alone. That gap is what College Ready was built to close. I bring my training in education, my years of coaching, and my own experience as a parent to help students walk onto campus ready, so the question isn't just whether your child gets in, but whether they're set up to stay and thrive.
