Support That Truly Understands You

ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Katrin Kusek! 👋🏼

And before I was a coach, I was a parent sitting where you might be right now.

When my own child was diagnosed, I expected the hard part to be the diagnosis. Instead, the hard part was everything after: the scramble for support that never quite fit, the strategies that worked for other families but not mine, and the quiet worry that I was somehow failing the very kid I’d do anything for. I had spent 18 years as an educator. I still felt unprepared.

If I felt that alone, I knew other parents did too.
That’s why I do this work now.

Here’s what I see every day:

Bright, capable teenagers who are underestimated, not because they aren’t smart, but because executive-function challenges get in the way of showing it. They have the ability. What they’re missing are the systems, the self-knowledge, and the support to use it. And just as they’re finding their footing, an enormous transition arrives, the leap to college and independence and far too many arrive unprepared, through no fault of their own.

I help change that, for the teen and for the parent walking beside them.
My background sits at the intersection of education and coaching. I hold a doctorate in education, I’m completing my ICF and ADHD-specific coaching certifications, and I’m a member of the ADHD Coaches Organization and the International Coaching Federation. But the credential that matters most to the parents I work with is this one: I’ve lived it. I bring the science of how the adolescent brain actually works and the lived understanding of what your family is navigating.

My coaching is never one-size-fits-all. Every teen’s brain, every family, every situation is different, so we start where you are and build from there.
I believe in growth that’s grounded: in ourselves, our rhythms, and the natural world around us. Strong roots come before lasting growth. That belief shapes how I work, calm, clear, practical, and rooted in real life.
If you’re ready for support that actually sees your kid and sees you — let’s talk.
